Why Has Blu-ray Failed to Catch Hold? - FoxNews.com
The reason they aren't doing that well is because in order to benefit you need an hdtv and the proper connection cables (which are all heavily overpriced in stores) and people don't wanna spend that kind of money. That's my opinion on why they haven't caught on too well. But the picture isn't always better, some movies look like they were shot with a home video camera and it actually looks line of crappy. Major benefit in my opinion is the ability to put an entire season of shows on one disk.

Just because they are labeled as professionals doesn't mean their aren't people out there who are smarter and more qualified. Point and case: hackers are no longer being arrested in some situations, they are being offered jobs. I'm not saying the FBI is incapable. I'm just saying its good that they are thinking outside the box.
